  • Ed is obviously someone who has suffered greatly, someone who's faith in God has been crushed. Why else would he devote so much of his time making videos of this nature?

  • @rduggla, you are totally incorrect. I have not suffered greatly (I say that explicitly in my blog), and my faith gave way to rational thought: 'crushed' is certainly not an appropriate word. To get an idea of why I make these videos, go to my profile page and read what I say in the left-hand column. Also it may be worthwhile for you to access my favorites collection and find a video by another YouTuber entitled 'Why I Care About Religion.'

  • Not being argumentative at all just wanna playing devils advocate here.

Some would say to you in response to this vlog. "Well to make a request that all deaf blind people be cured" would be to "test" God, which the Bible speaks against. Also Jesus said that the poor and sick we will always have with us. So to heal them all would be a miracle that would go against scripture."

Again, i'm just playing devil's advocate on this one. Interested in hearing what you response you would make. Thx!

  • Dmaj, as I document in my video on Bible--Prayer, Jesus reportedly promised unconditionally that his God would fulfill any prayers--an extravagantly false promise that his God could not possibly fulfill. This unconditional promise reportedly offered by Jesus is a standing invitation to 'test God'. We all know what will happen if any of us prays that even this one little deaf-blind girl will get immediate sight and hearing. Nothing will happen.

  • jesus this and jesus that. how do you know "jesus" does or did any of these things? how come your "jesus" is so invisible? so undetectable? you're actually expecting us to believe in something for which there's absolutely no proof

  • @rduggla - I think anyone who can fight against IGNORANCE and INTOLERANCE is only doing good for the world... while you can sit back and accept religious zealots blowing up innocent people and atrocities of the like, some people would like to change the world for the better, which includes ABOLISHING organized religion and the hateful messages it truly teaches. Shit, have you even READ the bible?

  • @dmajorhiphopproducer

It is weird to me that all those all powerful gods cant break natures law anymore... they could a couple 1000 years ago... but since science came along ... miracles vanished... makes you wonder.

  • @kanakaken yea, that's when someone not to bright tries to read the bible in a 21st century context. Try reading the bible in context with the correct exegesis. Children were extremely important to tribes back then because they created the backbone to the family and the supporting of work, protection, and business.

  • @whatafart you dickhead, even if a day was a million years there wouldn't be enough 'days' to complete what was written in the bible. There IS evidence that the mentality of the single celled omeba still exists, when there are people around after 5 billion years who believe it was all done in six thousand years.

  • @CreedChrist That is SO profound so wonderful and so beautiful that god would demonstrate his greatness for all to witness by causing a baby to be born blind never to see. Praise the lord indeed I particularly like the story of Lot, where his daughters fearing he may never have a son or perhaps they may never have kids, get him drunk on two separate occasions, have sex with their dad and bear him children. That of course is why god saved Lot from Sodom, it's a holy thing to fuck your daughters

  • @GodLessRant Explains the rise in scientologists.

  • one day in the lord is like a thousand years.

  • I seriously think that more people should actually read the bible, if indeed many believers have properly! I have only recently read the book in full. I find it very difficult to accept in my head that so many billions of people base their lives upon it. It is a repulsive book in every sense, some of it actually quite comical in its absurdity. For that person to claim her prayers are answered has in my view a mental problem, its a disgusting claim to make on this thread.

  • @CreedChrist Excellent! Now explain the disparity between the bible, St. Thomas More, and the real world. You've just expanded the claim without changing the evidence.

  • @gsco82

Its interesting you use the word "impossible", because that's exactly how I would describe many of the events of the bible, spirits, the christian version of god, and the concept of prayer in general- all impossible. Could you name a task that would be possible for prayer, apart from the psychological effect it has on the user? Also please explain why this version of prayer so disagrees with the one presented in the bible.
