Spiderman 2 - Peter Parker goes outside

Lame video title I know.

Anywho. If you couldn't understand my mumbling. What you need to do is start a challenge, then go to the Daily Bugle and Hero Punch yourself in, then restart the mission.

You'll be outside as Peter Parker, but all you can do is run, fall, poleswing and (after you do something like read a hint marker) walljump.

This causes the game to load incorrectly though. Making far away objects invisible and causing a black void on the ground and on the map. In some cases you can't venture too far without getting stuck, but other times you can.

Only way to reverse this is to go into the daily bugle and out again, or to load your game. Dying will only make you respawn in Peter Parker's Manhattan.

Also I fail at imitating Captain Falcon on camera. HERO PAUUUNCH! I'm so never ad-libbing again. I'm going to edit voiceovers into the video instead next time. Also, I apologise for that horrible remark i made about Peter's glasses. That's the main reason I'm not adlibbing anymore. I tried to edit it out (by muting that bit there) but forgot to save the edited version.

But anyway if you have the game, muck around with it and tell me if you find any more strange things with it.

Australian PAL Gamecube version, if anyone cares, but it should work on any version.

@Medina583 Try using a sprinting charge jump instead of the hero punch. It's less finnicky on the angle

you don't need hero punch just push the button the makes you go fast and jump its easy

you can ride on getaway cars if you go to the acrcade and do missions until you get a getway car and peter once did his spiderman poss outside when he got hit and the game froze
