I'm pretty sure the girl is Elize (Elise) Ryd from Amaranthe, previously known as Avalanche. She has also recorded backing vocals for Kamelot and Dragonland, as well as featuring along with her sister on their previous album in the song Ravenhair.

Yes. There was a time where they had a different singer though, and they took the more modern route.
