i filmed this in my laundry room, which is actually an outrageous 15 degrees hotter than the rest of my non-air conditioned Arizona home.

i've got fourteen problems
and no way to solve them
they hitch a ride on my back

they scurry at my feet,
dig their claws in my legs,
work their way up and hang from my neck

i hold my head low and carry the monsters
as they build their home on top of my shoulders.

more and more come
and they hang from my limbs
i've got thirty two problems that cling to my skin.

i bend at the waist and
slow down my pace
they whisper in my ear "you can't handle the weight"

my knees give out as more climb on
they laugh as i struggle not to fall to the ground

i've got sixty five problems;
completely covered
every inch on me is enveloped by monsters

sixty five problems,
you can't see me no more
but i've got answers behind my cabinet door

a little white bottle, well, what do you know?
sixty five answers in the little red form

so i solved my problems in only one night
and felt all the monsters fall one at a time.



and just when i thought
that they were all gone,
a new one jumped up and clung to my arm

it laughed at me and asked
"this was your solution?
you should have known in the end,
that we always win."

i love this song! and im going to guess that this song is about lies/regrets/things you let get too far thinking they would go away. and they changed you. hid you from who you really are. then you took some pills you had and it seemed your problems went away.. but as soon as the pills wore off they came back..

Its about suicide? Hmm? Well that kinda goes with my idea I was gonna guess you have seen some people die in your life time. For whatever reason, maybe your occupation? I could try to go deeper with that theory but I'm just gonna stop there.
