Susiehj, re the light and brick left. If someone had got in there, grabbed the kid, he was carrying her and didnt want her to wake, so it would have been hard to move the cinder block. And maybe even reaching to turn out the light was hard -but also he probably was in a hurry to get out as fast as possible. maybe he did not even remember to turn off the light.

I don't know why the light was left on in the kitchen and why the door was prompt open with a brick. Seems like the person wanted the girlfriend to know the lil girl was taken. I'd say if the light was off and door was shut, Hayleigh wouldn't have been missed until daylight.

I still dont like the sound of this Misty, the dogs picked up a scent to the river, you dont think Misty or someone else who was in the house took her down there and did something to Haleigh?
I'm looking at all the possibilites here, something just sounds so fishy.
