@alancastrian The Rodney Stenning kit comes with all of the parts to make the loco so it's a full kit, minus chassis of course

@alancastrian I'm probablt going to use "Mod Rock" for the quarries, thanks.

@maaswater15 - Thank you Maria, it is a great hobby and it also keeps me out of trouble.

@hyouma09 - You do realise that it will never be finished don't you, Ha Ha. You will always be finding something to change or add. Good luck with it and please keep us informed.

@alancastrian I'm going to be able to get it finished because I can buy thing from my local hobby shop :D.

@hyouma09 - I don't think you get my meaning. My layouts have been finished many times, but once you have the bug, after a while you decide to just change something small and so it goes on.

@alancastrian I'm going to make the station buildings out of Evergreen Plasticard and I'm still trying to decide what material I'm going to make the quarries out of, got any recommendations, also do you have the Rodney Stenning Sir Haydn kit because I need to know how to fold brass.

@hyouma09 - There are many products on the market that you can buy to make the quarries etc. but I always use, paper mache, covered with decorators plaster and some times I use ‘Mod Roc’ (Plaster of Paris Bandages). For larger areas you can build a frame first.
Sorry I don’t have the Rodney Stenning Sir Haydn kit and haven’t done any scratch building so I can’t help you on this, perhaps if you trawl the internet for scratch building sites and forums you will find what you are looking for.
