Hi, Alaska is one of my favorite places in the world. You're going at the best time too. This is called the waterworks trail next to Mt Marathon in Seward. If your in Anchorage take the train to Seward. By car its 2hrs and train is 4hrs... but its worth it. The ride there is beautiful so getting there is half the fun. My favorite places are Seward, Kodiak, and the Kenai Peninsula. If you go to Seward here are some awesome hikes: Mt Alice, Exit Glacier/Harding Icefield, Mt Marathon & Lost Lake.
