PETITION info for Special Edition DVD of FRIGHT NIGHT

Once again, I apologize to those who had linked or favorited the previous video. I'm giving this a try again because Tom Holland recently announced that he's scheduled for a meeting with Sony/Columbia and plans to push for that special edition release we've waited so long for. It would help for the fans to write in and tell the company how long overdue a special edition is, and to show your support.

If you're a fan of the movie, please take the time to write in -- online petitions are easily deleted, while a stack of letters can't be ignored. Write in and tell them the features you'd like to see (commentary track by writer-director Tom Holland; current interviews with actors Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, and Jonathan Stark; deleted scenes; making of documentary; photo gallery; music videos, THE WORKS.)

@EmpireLS56KW I don't rememer exactly but i think this movie was recorded in Dolby Surround only and now on DVD it's in Dolby 5.1 right? Oh i wish i could see Fright Night( The real one) in the theater again!

i think the new fright night might actualy be the one movie remake that will not dissapoint.but we know how hollywood is.they destroy every great 80s movie.

@localh21 Every horror movie that gets remade helps the original get a Special Edition treatment. You, I and the rest of YouTube's FRIGHT NIGHT fans can only pray. Also, Chris Sarandon will be in New Jersey for a Chiller convention. Go to Google and type in chiller convention guests. I can't wait to meet him.

It would be easier to put Fright Night for a limited cinema release keeping the image 100% close to the original for 35mm and digital release with its original Dolby film mix as I hate re-mixes, I think Fright Night must have had some slight artistic Dolby mixing as there are stereo surrounds when Jerry Dandridge is creeping around Charlie’s home outside on the roof.

So a limited 2/4 week re-release would tell if the film still has box office bite!
