Wonder if it would be much faster with some of the turbo zip zaps gears? Also, I made a great track for my kids' Thunder trucks. Check it out on my page.
@RunnerLasting12 You will have to add a plug to the battery, circuit board for the charger, and for the circuit board on the little truck. That way you can plug the battery into the truck to run it, but then plug the battery back into the charger to recharge it. It takes a bit of soldering, you can get micro plugs from bsdmicrorc(dot)com.
@microbuilder with my airhogs heli the 50 mah battery is connected to a curciut board and the charging connecter is on another side so how do connect the battery to the car with still being able to charge it? please reply
i did sort of a different mod i completely took everything out and replaced with air hogs atom electronics it does not go reverse and im still working on turning but it is fast
@RunnerLasting12 probably not that fast actually, but since its so small, it really seems to zoom around. WIth the bigger motor and lipo it goes faster than it does when its stock and pushing the turbo button.
@microbuilder im trying an experiment, can i take a airhogs helicopter motor and put it on a MTT? please reply like you really need to reply. thanks R.L.12
@aaronthegreat1997 The motor was from the ZipZap micro cars that were sold at RadioShack. Not sure if you can find them there anymore, but maybe online. Otherwise, any 6x13mm motor should work, 4-12ohms or somewhere around there for resistence. Keep in mind the stock NiMH battery isnt always able to power the bigger motor, and the car will stutter.

@mxdudeguy45 You can get them online at rc shops, or if you've got a broken down AirHogs Havoc heli, you can get them from those too.

@ylerspina no, you'lll need to trim some of the plastic away from the original motor mount to get it too fit, the ZZ motors are a bit longer.

@microbuilder will the zipzap motor just fit in too it?
