A little tip about mounting the antenna - do NOT screw the antenna when holding the tip of it, hold the tip and screw the "nut" nearest the transmitter. This will prevent scratches on the center-pin in the connector. (Scratches may reflect certain frequencies, and cause trouble on those frequencies). This is radio basics,,,
