@DORC101, There are currently two ways. 1- Turn on chat. There's a bar that you can drag that lets you replace that entire sidebar with the chat 2- Zoom your browser settings until it isn't visible. It will still technically be there, until Facebook fixes this glitch, but you won't be able to see it.

Facebook has recently put out a new format. This new format has a little side bar that pops up on the right side of the screen and shows you who's online, who's on chat and it even shows you what your freinds have been up to (like the comments/likes they've posted on other peoples walls/posts). Now I was wondering how I could turn that off so others can't see what im doing. Thanks
