Hold Me Tight(I Can't Do It Alone){CHAPTER 1:Part 1}

H O L D. M E. T I G H T. {I. CAN'T. DO. IT. ALONE.}

"Breathe Dally. Just Breathe." I told myself. I gazed at my sweaty figure in the mirror. My eyes traveled from my bleach blonde bun to my tiny feet. Sweat poured from everywhere it could. I had been overworking myself and felt worked to the core. My hand went down to my dance toned abs and laid there.

"Why do you do this to yourself?"

I chewed on my cheek as my father's words rang out in my ears. I knew that he didn't think his words were working on me, but in truth they affected just about every decision I made.

"You can't let yourself go on like this!"

His words grew louder and louder in my head. It was really getting annoying. I couldn't afford to let it show that I was breaking down. I knew that my father was only trying to take care of me, with the motherly void and all, but still I was growing up. I could make my own choices now.

I was thinking too much. I came here to not think! Now I was doing it.

I sighed and tore my eyes away from my smelly image. I slide off my shirt and shrunk out of my baggy basketball shorts. I stood taking in a new image. My sports bra and spandex shorts. I let out the breath I had been holding in and made my way over to the stereo. After pressing play I smoothly walked back to my beginning spot.

I inhaled as I closed my eyes. I listened to the music and let it flow through me. I exhaled as the part of the song I was dancing to came near. "5, 6, 7,8." I said barely audible. I hit the first beat crisply.

Everything after that was a blur. As the music came to a close I hit the last move as hard as I could. I held my pose, breathing heavily. I felt my heart beat begin to slow down as I slowly crumpled to the floor.

"You'll always have me you know."

The words made me feel like I had the wind knocked out of me. She lied. She LIED to me. Her daughter, her child, her own flesh and blood.

It didn't matter. I was strong. I didn't need her. I didn't need anything she thinks she could do for me. I banged my fist onto the wooden paneling. I slowly raised my head, my hair that had fallen out of its ponytail framing my face.

My eyes never strayed from my reflection in the mirror. The reflection of the girl who nothing ever phased. The hard-ass girl with all the comebacks. The girl who-

My thoughts were cut short when a pair of black and white Etnies appeared in front of me. I looked up. Up at the beautiful boy with the shaggy brown hair, almost hidden under his hat. The boy with the amazing blue eyes that made my ocean blue ones dull in comparison. The boy with too many tattoos for his gorgeous face. The boy that-

Okay I'm getting carried away now.

Back to reality Dally.

"Hey." I said as I smiled up at him. He graciously smiled at me.

My heart thudded against my chest.
