it was a school project duncton-don't expect us to find an actor with long hair to play the role of charles or our information to be 100% accurate.

I guess you had an original text for the trial? knowing about downes etc. I have two... one dating from 1922! I find it pretty difficult to read the trial text and not sympathize with Charles - he just had the upperhand over Bradshaw all the way. Bradshaw was useless. I'm generally a royalist anyway, a charles I fan... Are you roundhead or royalist? And I liked choice of stairway to heaven! That was really funny...

I love the English Civil War! Great to find other people who are interested. Your hair is much better than some Charles Is in film... in UK there was this drama called "the Devil's Whore" in which Charles I (peter capaldi) is tried and executed. His beard is ridiculous... execution scene on youtube. Alec Guinness plays Charles I in the film "Cromwell" and he's pretty good. Check out my comments on that execution scene. - search guinness charles execution scene and it should be first

That was pretty good...
Historically often accurate
Often inaccurate too but never mind
Downes existed, but who is Burroughs? Or that farmer?
You needed a Charles with longer hair, sorry
I think the execution was a bit harsh....something needed to be done though in order for england to rid themselves of having a king or queen...That is the path that they chose..It's funny how Cromwell's son Richard was such a socially inept panzyass who succeeded in doing nothing to help England. Then eventually william and his wife were just "invited" over to rule...it's ridiculous how things went.
