    The group was put together by Milton Jenkins, the manager of The Primes, thats why they became the sister group

    Both this take and the earlier LuPine recording of the song have, well, strong pluses. My own method of handling the happy situation is to play 'em back to back to back ad libitum. I have to admit that Diane's voice on this sounds marbly. Wonder how many takes were insisted upon, seeing as how Gordy ran Mary Wells thru over 20 on

    "Bye Bye Baby".
