  • The best improvisers can think much longer ahead in time than others. Look at Keith Jarrett, his solo seems complete as the first phrase is "spoken". Jim plays great as well, really enjoyed these clips...

  • This is very essential information. Shorten the gap between thinking and playing. Use simple motifs and then express out of that something creative. Leave gaps. The hardest thing is to leave spaces because we tend to fill everything in hoping to reach some sort of level of complete playing but language has pauses...
