Every day at the beginning of the evening a lot of bats (flying foxes) are flying over Sydney. They fly from the Royal Botanic Gardens (next to the Opera house) to Centennial Park. There must be hundreds or maybe a few thousand of them.

  • They fly like birds... Are you sure they aren't really birds?

  • They are really bats. In the daytime you can see them "hanging around" in the Botanical Gardens. I made this movie from the Horizon building, an excellent spot to see them coming from the Botanical Gardens.

  • Hmm, unusual to hang around in almost direct sunshine, but then again, it also is awesome :P Nice vid ^^
