The Nick J story - the life that leads a mistake... Ch. 39

Nick: NOOOOOO nick looked at joe furious
Nick: you couldnt just tell her to watch a movie with you guys! AND WHY WAS SHE TAKING OUT THE GARBAGE.
Joe: I dont know! She wanted to!
Nick was scared of where Alex was.
Nick: wheres Kevin?
Joe: out with Kathleen.
Nick ran over to the phone again and dialed Kevins number.
15 seconds later he answered.
Kevin: brooooooo
Nick: Kevin? Where are you?
Kevin: woah, take it easy mini dad.
Nick: not funny, WHERE ARE YOU
Kevin: out with Kathleen, why?
Nick: is alex with you?
Kevin: no why would she be ?
Nick: I dont know, why wouldnt she be, god Kevin it was just a god damn question
Kevin: WO WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS
Nick: we cant find alex.
Kevin: wait, she just disappeared?
Nick: I dont know, but shes not here.
Kevin: maybe she just went to clear her mind, like you did once upon a time.
Nick: she doesnt do that kind of stuff, she wouldve told somebody.
Kevin: me and Kathleen are coming over now.
Nick: okay later
Nick hung up.
Nick: lets split up, Ill check the park, and around the area.
Amanda you check wherever you think she could be.
Joe you go check the grocery store, who knows what shes craving these days.
Amanda: gotcha.
Joe: gotcha.
They all split up and went to go find Alex.

Alex: DONT BRING ME IN HERE she said screaming
Her mother didnt respond she just continued to drag her into the house.
Her mother banged the door down, and the dusty stairwell was right in front of them.
Alex cried thinking of the memories of her and her sister running down the stairs to see her mother when she got back from a business trip and to give her giant hug.
She didnt understand why she was bringing her back down to this place
Her mother dragged her up the stairs, after 3 minutes of standing there.
Alex: where are you taking me.
Mother: would you just shut up, and walk?
Alex soon kicked her mother in the leg.
Mother: ouch, now your really going to regret that.
Alex was scared.
She soon took her into her sister Avas bed room.
The wall was still painted a light baby pink color, and her old twin bed was still in the corner of the room. Ava still had the strange hole in the corner of her floor that dropped down to the rather dusty attic.
Her sister moved in with aunt, after their father died, Alex stayed with her step mother so that she could stay with Nick.
Mother: Go To the wall
Alex: NO she shouted.
Mother: YES she shouted back
Alex stood there not moving.
Alexs step mom kicked Alex in the hamstring causing her to fall in pain, while falling to the ground, she slipped on something that was laying on the ground and killed her ankle.
Mother: GET UP she yelled
Alex was crying in pain.
She figured shed now just do as she was told.
Alex was struggling to get up, as she grabbed the edge of the bed to pull herself to her feet.
Her mother glared at her.
Alex looked back at her with tear stained cheeks, she grabbed her belly hoping her baby was still safe.
Mother: NOW GET TO THE WALL
Alex walked to the corner of Avas bed then suddenly her ankle gave out on her causing her to fall to the ground, yet again, but this time she took a fall leaving her to land through the hole in the corner of the room, which led her to the attic.
Alex was terrified, she didnt know where she was.
Mother: sweet dreams my dear.
She pulled a switch on the wall, causing the light to black out.
Alex was more scared then ever, she needed nick. She needed him BADLY.
She didnt know where she was, everything was pitch black, as she moved around trying to figure out where the hell she fell, a few minutes later, she noticed she couldnt go anywhere. So she gave up and sat there.
She thought, her life was over. Nobody would know where she was, nor would they guess that she was at the old house. Her mind soon shot to her biggest fear giving labour in this pitch black attic, with no doctor, no nick, no nothing. She soon began to panic causing her to get up from where she was standing. Suddenly the wooden platform she was standing on snapped, causing her to fall to the hard ground. She took a thump and noticed it was wet.
