Uncage the Soul Productions tagged along with Matt Bedrin as he climbed and skied his first peak associated with Skiing Cascadia, an effort to climb and ski the 40 highest peaks in the Cascade Range in 2010. http://www.skiingcascadia.com
This is awesome, it must have been an interesting hike up. I climbed it with my dad in august 2008. I was just looking through the photos today.
I did not get to ski, but we did glacade down the chutes. There was still a good amount of snow but patchy and we didnt bring skis, just hiked it. I like your way more. Think it took us 6 hrs up and 5 hrs down.
Great hike, however you've inspired to go do it again sometime in winter
Seems like those dogs would be freezing their paws off. I know my dog can't stay outside too long in our Wisconsin winters or he'll get snow balls between his pads and start limping on whatever paw's are coldest.
