Outdoors I would definitely put it on an amp for obvious reasons. It can hold its own around a campfire without one. It has both an electronic pick-up, and an internal microphone, and the mixer on the side of the guitar allows you to blend between them to get a very sweet sound. It sounds deeper than it's body width should allow because of the ribbing under the deck. So it belts out a good sound with the body being only about 3 inches deep. Kinda like "Bose Wave Radio".

I agree with sejobl. I too own one of these and it's a marvelous-sounding guitar. Signifanctly less "tinny" than it's coming across here.

what song is this or is he just messin around on the guitar.....and to those who have this guitar, im ordering it soon cuz i fell in love with its sound any recommendations on an amp to go with it

I own this guitar and, to tell you the truth, it sounds much better than in this video.
