My response to the question: "Did you have a moment where you went from "recovering" to "recovered"? or was it fluid and went by without noticing? I ask because I'm at a stage where it doesn't feel like I'm 'actively' recovering... it just feels like life."

  • recovery is hard battle,, but you seem strong.. and able to get over it.. good luck..

  • Thanks, I am actually already "recovered." I have been healthy and well for 3 years (before that was just IN recovery) and I lead an ANAD eating disorder support group. This is my response to someone's question. Thanks for watching.

  • You just described me! The regular coke, the cream cheese on bagel, the galaxy snack bar fully eaten :) I live. I no longer think about food/weight. Okay I have my moments of insecurity or vulnerability. But I barely have thoughts. I am I think, where you are :) I am so proud of you, you amaze me. I am also about to start a support group :) Love yoooou, Rachie x

  • Rache, that is awesome. Good luck with starting up your support group. It's a lot harder than it looks, but I know you are up to the task. <3

  • thank you

recovering or deciding to recover just always seems like a battle

  • It is a battle, but it's a battle you can win. Thanks for watching. Take care of yourself.

  • Yeah, I think it will take some time, maybe start in a few months. I have wanted to for ages. And of course inspired by you :))

  • Thank you for the kind comment! I appreciate it very much. Thanks for watching!

  • What a wonderful video. You're an extremely inspirational person, and thank you for making the videos that you make that help others (like myself). And congratulations for being so successful in recovery-you most certainly deserve it. :)
