The Broom That Stands On Its Own

There I am watching the news (I know, I made a mistake) and I see a story about an amazing, possibly paranormal broom that stands up by itself. I then remembered that I have two brooms that do the exact same thing. So the question is this: Do we both have amazing brooms or is there absolutely nothing going on (since most of us agree that this thing called 'the center of gravity' exists).
