2012 Hurricanes are in last place and playing in front of empty seats for the last 3 seasons.Bring back the Whalers and make sure they play that song again when they score goals

The video really shows how much of a faimly the Whalers team and their fans where...You'll never see anything like this again in pro sports, it just dosen't happen

I am, have always been, and always will be an Anaheim Ducks fan...
And 1st or 15th, I can't imagine hockey season not rolling around and the Ducks not being there...AWFUL...
BRING THEM BACK!
Another thing, about being a Ducks fan--
WE DIDN'T *STEAL* OUR TEAM!
The Whalers weren't relocated, they were stolen--simple as that.
Phoenix, Columbus, Florida...doesn't matter where...
The Jets--thankfully--are back, and the Nordiques are on the way...hat trick time, Let the Whale rise again!

We were the Lambeau field of professional hockey!!! We loved our hockey more than anything. It was all Connecticut had. And we loved every minute of it. The Jets had their comeuppance and we want our whalers back!!!!!!!

@MasterJoBob you are wrong, and have no idea of the real picture. hartford had good attendance for a franchise that never won anything, there were ups and downs, but there is strong support for hockey in Connecticut, more so than a handful of teams that already exists in the NHL right now. There is now a new XL center plan....if everything is built, it will just take one failing NHL team that wants to move someplace to get a boost.

@maximum1able hartford is in Ct, lol
@MasterJoBob yeah but that was when the canadian dollar was in the shitter. with the new MTS centre and the proposed arena in quebec and the dollar worth more than the US dollar, returns to these cities are now possible. as for hartford, take a look at minnesota. the north stars couldn't sell tickets to save their lives and they ended up moving. however in 2001 when the wild came to town they began a sell out streak that lasted 10 years. i can see the same happening with hartford,
