@MrSharpeace Exactly Ser Arthur Dayne was considered by many (including Ned and Barriston) to be the best Knight when he was alive.. Now, Barristan the Bold and The Kingslayer (whom Dayne knighted) are considered the best swordsmen in the realm. (Leave your spoilers out of it!!) Howland Reed gets the credit from Ned for making it so that it was Arthur Dayne that died and not Ned on that fateful day. I expect to hear more about Howland in the 6th and 7th books.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - if Ned Stark thinks you are dangerous then you are fucking DANGEROUS. I love this guy. The best man in the Westeros. What a shame we never saw him fight Jaime at his peak, or even the über-badass Drogo.

These two characters have some good dialogue and chemistry together. It's a shame they didn't have more scenes together.
