蓮華寺＠宮城県岩沼市

宮城県岩沼市小川の志賀沢川沿いに、蓮華寺があります。この寺は竹駒寺の末寺（支配下の寺）です。
由来は不明ですが、鎌倉時代に作られた仏像があると言われています。
「奥の細道」で、松尾芭蕉がこの地を通って仙台へ向かいました。

In the banks of Shigasawa river of Ogawa,Iwanuma city,Miyagi prefecture, there is Renge-ji temple.
This temple is the branch temple of Takekoma temple, and the origin is uncertain. It is said that there is a buddhist image made in Kamakura period.
Basho Matsuo headed for Sendai by "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" through this ground.
