Before and After with Parelli - longer version

I am from New Zealand and my horse is a 12 year old Swedish Warmblood Palomino called Garbo. I started to learn to ride 6 years ago now and when I got Garbo in Year 2 we started off well but I quickly became disillusioned with the standard training methods taught to me by instructors. The use of force and whips made my horse kick, rear and buck which in turn made me lose my confidence completely, I also thought there must be a kinder way and one that didn't require me to wear gloves to stop me getting blisters on my hands!.

2 years ago I found Parelli and started studying via the Home Study Program and this shows some Before's and Afters in our Parelli Life. We are now studying Level 3.

It just shows what can be done. You look so confident now, whereas you didn´t before. Garbo now looks to you for leadership and finds it, cool. Keep up the good work.

This is amazing! I only have the Getting Started DVD so far but I'm not making much progress :( Maybe in time they'll get the hang of it?
