Video installation from Maarit Murka solo- exhibition in Helsinki, Korjaamo Gallery: The third video is called Black humour (0`43``) and is Kasimir Malevits, whose most famous work is probably painting of Black Square. In this video performance artist used the modern idea of motion image (video) to bring to audience the work of Malevits on video and to close the idea with time frame, by connecting it to famous number 0,43- this is numeral value of Murkas concept for the exhibition. As You can see the time is very important in creation, the symbols connecting different works can be brought together by modern possibilities and can be more enjoyable for the audience. Or more unpleasant.
