so the 1.8 that i been working on with my dad soon to be mine seems to always have a problem with the check engine light we run it threw the computer but the shit tht pops up we fix it new problem so should i by a new computer or invest on a bike instead

i have a 2005 ser spec v with cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust all nismo... some motor upgrades and tuning chip.. i love the car i have had it a year and not one problem. i have had it to 150 but of course thats all the speedometer says.. whoever says there slow come on ill line up with u. i beat a 2012 mustang gt with the 5.0 with ease and all i got is a 2.5l 4 cylinder

u guys r so dumb u just dont know wat to do with it. theres lots of defects but theyre so easily fixed, get one and find someone who knows what there doing

@dangerdakota They're fun cars. Definitely fast off the line. They have pretty short gears, though, and the 6th gear is almost pointless

have u had problems with the engine burning oil quickly, or problems with ur fuel pump or a defective headlight lens, and is the paint really thin? wud u recommend this car to anyone? plz reply im looking to by this same car. thank you

@kwalt4 I only owned the car for four months,and in all honesty, they aren't the MOST reliable cars. I know a friend of mine who had an '04 Spec-V who encountered all sorts of electrical problems. On the flip side, they are pretty fun cars. Lots of torque (and a lot of torque steer), and they feel very "sporty" (to some extent). Mine had the red-lava interior which looked pretty cool. Once you get off the line, there really isn't any top-end power/speed
