Actually there are complete cantata cycles with boys' choirs: Leonhardt's, and Harnoncourt's, and possibly others. It is not so unusual. Also, this performance is beautifully sung, both tonally and the coloratura. It is not unpolished or limited.

Unusual to hear a boy soprano, in our time, and a somewhat unpolished and limited performance; however it does convey a certain charm and certainly worth listing for which I was pleased to listen to. Thank you.
