There are rumors going about stating that Ema will soon be receiving a new boiler, and will be back in steam. I am not sure if it's true or not, we'll have to wait and see.

@pennyf9 The Grizzly Flats is stored at the OERM in it's own barn along with other narrow gauge railroad.

Mr Kimball was quite simply a collector of some of the most interesting equipment.
He was around at the right time and had the vision not to say the resources to adquire this collection. We owe a debt of graditue to Mr Ward Kimball.

OREM is already in process or fully restoring Emma to running status. They have buit a water tower and turntable and plan to add narrow guage rail for her to fun on.

Those are great photos, and it's nice to see her getting some sun light.

Durango offered to restore her, and in return use her to haul the Presidential Special at railfests, but Orange Empire turned it down. That is one big mistake.
