By the way, if any of you haven't heard Clifford's solo on "Kiss and Run" (from the Sonny Rollins Plus 4 album) you are missing out on one of life's great pleasures (and in my opinion, his 2nd greatest solo). Astonishing! It's here on YouTube, so find it and check it out!

Clifford Brown is my idol. I play a bit of Jazz Trumpet and this guy was the man. It's tragic that his life ended so quickly. By far my favorite trumpet player ever. He's so smooth all the time. Long live "Brownie!"
