@BayleighVII: The "facts" you describe are based on HER version of events. Remember that. Even if all u wrote about Dan's actions were true, her behavior still indicated that she didn't go "insane," she had a narcissistic rage. Personality disorders (which several Dr.'s diagnosed her) don't just happen after trauma, they are ingrained. Early on, she obsessed about money, fortune and IMAGE. When her image was harmed, she sought revenge via murder. 20 years later, she still thinks she was wronged.

I don't blame Betty for being angry but she hurt her kids and herself. I would have just taken him for every cent he had!

@orlandobabe Because marriages are for better or worse, for richer or poorer!

Right now I don't care if Betty was used and abused well I don't believe she was abused, what she should have done was divorce Dan ages ago. I mean if their marriage wasn't the best one then end it for pete sake. Why would anyone stay in a loveless marriage?

Let's examine the facts. She married him for love, spent her best years propping him up, gave him his children, and as soon as it was time to enjoy what they had both slaved for, he threw her in the trash and replaced her with a dead ringer of her younger self. Of course she went insane. All you idiots calling her a psycho are misguided, this woman lost her mind for a reason. She wasn't a psychotic mindless sociopath beforehand, she was a loving mother and devoted wife.

And to this very day Betty Broderick has NO REMORSE over what she did. I just take this as a lesson learned and apply it in my own life. Be careful what you to and who you do to because, what one sows one also reaps. It not right but hey, I didn't make these crazy rules about the game of life.

It's so pathetic how some people NEVER see how down their spouse is for them. Yeah, Betty Broderick wasn't the "sweetest peice of pie", and she probably was a bit difficult to be around in real life. But nevertheless, she stood by Dan's side through thick and thin, sacrificed, and put her needs LAST and her family FIRST. I seen that in the real documentary about her. No, she wasn't right for killing him and his new pussy, but I can understand how hurt she must have felt. Karma is REAL.

@CatieCass Thank you!

@GinA7887 Agreed! Dan was no saint, but his behavior DOES NOT justify murder at all. You're absolutely correct!

i love this movie
She is such a bitch! it hurts really bad to get cheated on but she isnt the first or the last that doesnt give her the right to kill two people. She let her anger , jealousy and greed get the best of her

I understand how Betty felt but it's the actions that she chose to take that I dont agree with is all. She was a woman scorned but he was'nt worth a prison sentence.
