Liu Hailong (CHN) vs Robert Kaenorrasing (THA)
Guangzhou, China
75kgs
Punching, kicking, knees, elbows & throws. Elbow pads worn. Clinch time is shorter than standard Muay Thai match.

This is round 5 (final round). The ending where the ref usually declares the winner is missing. It's a pretty easy guess to see who won though. And if you think you can't work it out you can check out the results from this site.

I don't really like the website above as i don't really agree on many of its opinions but it's good to find results.

  • if you like to throw people try fight an judoka...

  • Chinese guy got the right strategy. Knowing the MuayThai's strength is the ability to deliver heavy blows in CLOSE distance, the Chinese guy didn't gave Thai fighter that opptunity to do what Thai fighter wants to do ( not that the rules stoped him), once Thai got close, he got taken down, there is nothing the Thai fighter can do, because he doesn't got the right skill to depend a throw... once you got taken down 100 times... you are scared to make any move

  • @yoshilipitiss mostly your right. but i don't see where this fight is only fought from distance. if so, how could the chinese guy throw him that often? you can't throw from distance...

  • @psunthor yes, but in sanda there are no ropes, the ring is not that high and there are mats around the ring. throwing like this for me seems pretty reckless...

  • @PonchoExperience well in sanda matches its a platform, not a ring

  • @psunthor in sanda you actually get points for throwing out the oponent

  • ไม่เข้าใจทำไมห้ามใช้ศอก ให้ออกอาวุธครบดิ กลัวไร แตกก็แตกไปดิ ชกมวยไม่ใช่ตีกอฟ

  • sanda rule is really allow to throw opponent out of the ring?
