See the no. 1 reason why WCW didnt get the exposure like WWF/E at the time is because, WCW used to build their wrestlers but having great matches. This real take time. It was based on skills, WWF/E built wrestlers on HYPE. Sure, some WWF wrestlers, Shawn Michael, Bret Hart, Owen live up to the hype. When we wrestling fans are old and grey and cant get out of bed, what do you rather watch, a great promo, a Miz vs Cena match or a great 4/5 stars match?

I miss this wrestling. Wasn't much talking, didn't have to worry about someone interfering in every match, and these guys were a hell of a lot cooler than some of the idiots that wrestle now. Guess that's why I pretty much stopped watching wrestling over 10 years ago.

awesome wrestling, Road Warriors always needed opposition like this and rarely got it. That last dropkick clearly didn't connect though :P

If it was a true move for move contest the Steiners would win. The Road Warriors would beat everybody, Steiners included when it comes to fighting.

And therein lies the problem with Scott. He never liked jobbing fakes. I stopped at 3:45 and know there's more to this but Scott had already outclassed Hawk. He threw him around like nothing and this was b4 he ultra-roided. The Steiners are real wrestlers who had to carry actors. Rick was the cooler head but Scott always had a problem with this.

@ANUBUS1777 ...man, this was a dream match at the time that really lived up to its billing. They weren't fucking around out there. Super stiff and great. Only problem is that stupid ass wcw commentary team. They talked about everything but the match. WCW announcing was a real achilles heel back in those days. Especially Bischoff. The match would have been amazing with JR on commentary.
