Cat purr

This is Sonar Cat: part-time kitty, occasional bear-wrestler, full-time heart-melter! He purrs like a lawnmower whenever he gets some loving.

This video was taken in Oct 2006 at Sonar's foster-parent's house. An animal rescue volunteer agreed to foster Sonar for a couple of months while I searched for another cat-friendly apartment. This was a godsend... I would have had to give up Sonar if it weren't for the foster's help. It was a really difficult time for me, but I was comforted knowing that I wouldn't have to give him up. I was able to visit him at least once every other day.

The little orange one is Petey, a kitten that was also being fostered. Unlike Sonar, Petey still had not been adopted yet. On weekends, the animal rescue staff would bring Petey to mobile pet adoption sites to show him to the public in hopes of finding a good "forever home" for him. (Yes, Petey did end up finding a home!)

I can't thank pet fosters and animal rescue shelters enough! They're the absolute greatest!!

Tuxed cats are the best mine's name is Champion he was found on the street's by my ex beetwen life and death gauntlike dehydrated and malnurished, she saved him and gave him to me, now he's in top shape, thats why she called him Champion, because he survived, i found a black bowtie at a friperie i sewed it to ajust it to Champion's neck and when i have guest over i put it on him , its a great conversation piece : )
