Entymology 2 - The Sequin

Passchendaele, the grandmotherly praying mantis, finds herself at odds with an interfering cosmetics salesperson, Lameela the ladybird.

This is the sequel to our earlier short film, entitled "Entymology". We used stop-motion animation as well as still-frame images and regular filming to create this film, which was for our NCEA Level 3 Media Studies practical assignment.

Apologies for the quality on some of the moving footage, something went a bit haywire when we exported it from Final Cut. :S
