  • The wealth of the .1% has nothing to do with hard work and everything to do with influence, the accident of birth, theft, and taking big risks with other people's money. We let the super-wealthy warp government policies to their benefit at our cost. The truth is that the only people who will become wealthy in this economy are the ones who are ALREADY wealthy. That’s why we have an income gap. The door has firmly closed on upward mobility for children of middle class and poor families.

  • The idea that you can be rich" if you want it bad enough, is such a scam. Sure working hard will make you more money (to a point). Most republican lower/middle class people feel some sort of kindred spirit with these republican fat cat types because they see themselves as "wealthy" in a parallel universe. Republicans laugh at this voting group, as they mow their lawns, and deliver their mail. If people voted the way they should vote---with their wallets, the Republican party would be defunct.

  • @ts53shea Seems like an Obama-Biden ad to me.

  • @ts53shea --- Things would be better if the middle class were buying the houses and the middle class were building the houses. The gap between the rich and the middle class hasn't been this large since the robber-barrons. Pull your head out of your ass Tom.

  • Mitt is one corrupt thug.

Mitt relates to nobody but millionaires and people who can do something for him.

  • "Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires" -- Steinbeck

  • @Eagles2777 Instead of believing the rich shouldn't pay the same tax rate, and have the laws applied to them equally, you should pay attention to what's actually being said and what's actually happening to the United States, instead of mindlessly repeating the talking points ("they hate the rich!") spouted by cheerleaders for the top 0.01% and for corporate corruption (Limbuagh, FOX) who see you as a useful idiot that allows them to rig the system & the laws in their favor.

  • @maemclaren it is satire.

  • @HasselHoffHoff This is a joke. :)
