@GOODY61 Yeah, you're right. Plus, sometimes there can be more than one tornado in the area. I apologize for my thoughtless comment. It is a bit terrifying seeing debris coming down and being afraid for the well-being of others. Joplin is about a 3 hour drive to the SW. Plus my town just got hit on the 25th with an EF2 - no fatalities, thank God. Crazy season. God bless!

@SocialDrivenMedia Natural reaction for most people. Have you heard the breathing rate of the people who have filmed tornadoes ? Almost every videos the person sounds like this.

A bit irrational to tell someone to get in a tub or closet AFTER the tornado had already passed. Sounded like you were gonna have a heart attack - if the tornado didn't kill you, your own fear would!

Was Angel ok, being a BIG dog lover, i would have been crazy knowing my dog was just standing there. I hope she came to you and u shelterd her from harm. Bless you and your family.
