  • Can you help me?

Since I bought my HP-319,the cassette volume is way lower than the radio and the turntable,I've had the head cleaned and everything checked up,but it still not working the way I want,Even in the maximun volume, the sound of the tape is low.

It seems to have low amplification for the cassette deck, what can I do?

  • @AugustoAAL Did you try cleaning the little metal switch plates that touch when a cassette is put in play, with WD-40? If that's not the problem, then maybe leaky capacitors or a trimmer setting or the output level?

  • Mine 319 arrives this friday!

Im gonna make few cleanings on teh cassette deck,is it too complex?

  • Basic cleaning might not be hard, but the long Q-tips my be good for easier cleaning of the head.

  • Beautiful!

Next week I'm gonna purchase one of those too, with the original speakers.

Can you scan the owners manual for me please?

  • If I can get a scanner on hand, I can do that.

  • @siomi869 ... there's ebay for the uninitiated... um yeah... and those strange things people call garage sales where they stare at you while you sift through their old stuff... that goodwill/value village/Saint de Paul's/etc thrift store place that you drive past every day on your way to work... and that Pawn shop in the run down part of town. ...yeah.... oh yeah... and that craigslist thing... though you do want to be careful not to go alone on those. Some scary people abuse craigslist.

  • Still you got it?. Bought recently an HP-318 (same device but with 8 Track player). Cleaned it, lubrify and change the idler wheel of turntable, repaired right channel and another details. My stereo comes with original speakers, but one of these are in serious damage for damp, and unfortunately the cover was break. Sound and works so good!.
