I listened to the whole thing. The notes seem to be right, but the timing is completely off. Thus it ends up not sounding much like the original song. Not sure why you played it this way, since from watching you I can see you have some level of skill with the instrument.

I can't hear any part of Hotel California in this either. If you keep practicing your notes - I'm sure you'll get really good one day. The drum has a nice sound...

it sounds like hotel california. Problem is people aren't familiar with the intro when the eagles play this live. I'm willing to bet anyone that has said it doesn't sound like hotel california haven't listened past 1 minute.
