I agree that Nene seems to be a better matchup for shaq. There is however 28 other teams to play and they dont all run the ball through the post looking to score. Against Utah Camby's skill set would be better. hedging from your man to help against the pick and roll and trying to disrupt shots by getting in the air dramatically affects the percentages that slashing PG's and SG's get inside, which in the modern game is probably more important. Camby is also a great rebounder.

In this one particular game based on the clips you've shown Nene is playing Shaq better than Camby is. If you really want to make your point and have weight with thinking people you'll have to add more data to support your claim. what were the stats for this game for Camby, Nene and even Shaq based on who was guarding him. How about seasonal or career defensive stats for both Camby and Nene?

the thing about shaq is that he is slowing down... he is still the most dominant player in the league...probably ever... but the diesel is running low on fuel...
now marcus camby the man that you call overrated can't seem to guard shaq yes... but that does not exclude the fact that he can get rebounds blocks and play d... so before you call someone overrated...someone who has the title of the dpoy maybe you should think twice before you make such ridiculous assumptions... shaq is slowing down
