May be you should read a book or two (not that Azar Nafisi's propaganda) on Iran's contemporary sociology. Then you would have realized that 76% of the university population if Iran today are women. I would hardly call that isolation.

She had exaggerated to the very extreme. I think she had depicted a twisted view of Iran giving way to immature opinions like that of yours. If she doesnt like Iran she can stay in the US, but she has no right depicting Iran in such a way as if it is like that for all women!!! Iran is a beautiful modern country where women, though not enjoying the same freedom as the ones in the West are treated much more equally than the neighboring countries. WOMEN ARE IN ISOLATION!!!!
