Episode 2: Mob Spawning Science

In today´s Episode of Docm77´s NEW Minecraft World Tour, we are able to see the finished spawning pads for the hostile and friendly mobs inside the Perimeter. We take a closer look at some details and the dimensions of the new add-ons to the future production area.
Also, a proof of concept setup for a new 2x2 Mobcorn Machine using the trapdoors of update 1.6 is showcased.
In the end, we are able to witness a massive spider infestation inside the friendly mob spawning grounds. This leads to the conclusion, that we really do need a spider seperator around here.

@docm77  hey doc, i made the mob spawner that etho did a video on the revised one but mine doesnt seem to work well at all :( theres a huge ocean around me and ive lit up so many caves, (im doing this in 1.1) about 1 or 2 mobs spawn and come up my tube like every 40 seconds :( is there a video showing us how to build this one?
