Haha...same to me. I am a typical teochew nan in Singapore. When I was 15, a day my mom kept me at home for whole day and told me I have to "chut hue heng". I was happy because I could skip my school for that day. Thanks for this great video.

My mom bought me the bought me the "cha kia" ( wooden slippers) when i was 15 too. Wore Purjama at staid at home.

i rem all the dishes were cooked with sugar/brown sugar
including a plate of pig liver fried with spring onions and SUGAR!!!
