Sky Player Promo

Sky's broadband download service 'Sky by Broadband' was rebranded Sky Anytime shortly after launch. It was recently rebranded again as 'Sky Player' following the success of the BBC's own broadband streaming and download service 'iPlayer' which launched over Christmas 2007. For once Sky are holding onto the BBC's coat-tails, leveraging the BBC's marketing muscle and word-of-mouth around broadband delviered TV.

Sky player is a fantastic platform with so much potential but in many ways it falls short! for a start why is there no HD content (I don't buy their excuses) and the channel selection is not that good at all! there should be FX and SyFy and other channels like that! if I subscribe to the variety pack ALL those channels should be available (same with news sport movies ect)
