She definitely didn't fly into Seattle on the seaplane. The farthest you can fly from on Kenmore Air seaplanes is Victoria, BC. She most likely flew into SeaTac airport and then took a half hour seaplane ride so that they could get some shots of her coming in on a seaplane.

It's not a freaking houseboat! It's a FLOATING HOME. They're different. Floating homes are stationary. Houseboats can move, because they are also boats.
