Touch-Controlled Photo Manipulation App in Star Trek

Sisko uses a PADD to come up with a face he's dreamt. Although PADDs are used thoroughout Star Trek (going as back as TOS) this is the first obviously touch-and-gesture-based software used. It's clear how Sisko "flicks" the selected features (a gesture, instead of a tap).

The "concept" of a tablet is common enough in Science Fiction, but the way to hold and use it in this case is too similar not only to how iPads are today but how Tablets were NOT until the iPad (interfaces used to be touch-based, not gesture-based).
