Research & Development prototype achieves 45+ seconds of unmanned tethered hover on duPont Aerospace Co. Inc. test stand, Gillespie Field, El Cajon on September 30, 2007.
The plane is under full computer control, and is instructed to hover at 2 feet, while maintaining attitude & position.
Looks like the Bell X-14 with a closed cockpit, and a high spine...
