OK DUDE where's the finished product? It's been five months, and you said the vinyl siding would be finished in a couple of weeks.....you're late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks really nice - Made mine out of sliding glass door windows as well. Just wondering if on the ends you would have been better off to have a thin piece of black sheet metal below the glass so that you don't lose any heat because of the air going against the cold glass surface. Just a thought - not sure what difference it would make??

pretty nice solar heater. have you got any temp readings on any yet? I built a second one for this winter, and so far it is working excellent with my heater from last year. Deffinately tell a difference using two.
Should I rinse the old beer out of the cans first? LOL j/k. :D I have looked at a lot of these videos, and yours is the first that has a window unit. I think thats a GREAT idea! I plan to make a couple of these. :) Thanks for posting!

@Stormclouds777 right on! hehe yep i would rinse them lol... i have a new idea I'm going to try on my next one building the inlet and outlet in a sorta upside down fish hook or ( L shape ) that the window lowers on to.. that way you just lift the window and remove the hole thing in the summer.
