"You'd Be So Nice to Come Home To" written by Cole Porter, for the 1943 film Something to Shout About, was recorded by Joni James for her 1956 album, "In the Still of the Night" on M-G-M Records and released on CD by Tarragon Records in 1995. The track was arranged and conducted by David Terry. It was also included on the album, Dedicated to You, on the Beautiful Music Company label.
@Fegen
Sorry to hear it's been so cold in your "neck of the woods", John! But at least we have these great HEARTWARMING Joni James tunes that catman has so graciously posted! To be with a loved one next to a cozy fire, sipping something hot & listening to the scintillating sounds of Joni...now that's a wondrous winter picture! Wonderful weekend wishes to all of Joni's fans! And THANKS for sharing this lovely song with me, John! :)

Ideal song here in Kentucky on 12/13/2010 when the temperature is 5 above
tonight. Lovely version of the song by Joni --- she makes it her own.
