This tribute originally had the song "Love Street", until I had to audioswap it when it was muted.
A tribute to the relationship of Pamela Courson and Jim Morrison. While I am a fan of the great Jim Morrison, this particular tribute is more dedicated to Pam though it is meant for the both of them.
She was born December 22nd 1946 in Weed, California and died from a heroin overdose at the age of 27 3 years after Jim Morrison passed away on April 25th, 1974. He died July 3rd 1971 also at the age of 27. His official cause of death was listed as a heart attack. Pamela was the one to find him. One biography states that she and Morrison met at a nightclub called The London Fog on the Sunset Strip in 1965, while Courson was an art student at Los Angeles City College. In his 1998 memoir, "Light My Fire: My Life with the Doors", former keyboardist Ray Manzarek stated that Courson and a friend saw the band during their stint at the London Fog, a lesser-known nightclub. Courson's relationship with Morrison was tumultuous, with repeated sexual excursions by both partners. Courson briefly operated Themis, a fashion boutique that Morrison bought for her. Her death certificate lists her occupation as "women's apparel." She was portrayed in Oliver Stone's 1991 movie "The Doors" by Meg Ryan. I chose this song because it is said to have been written about Pam. I had to replace the song with a Plain White T's song called "Hey There Delilah" because it was the next best thing that fit
